Trapped inside the Spiral — a cluster of eerie and desolate lands within the Nowhere — two best friends must rely on each other to find an escape from an inescapable nightmare.
For the first time in the franchise, players can experience the journey in 2-player online co-op or solo with an AI companion. Each child carries a distinct tool required for both puzzle-solving and defense.
- Low: Wears a bird mask and wields a bow & arrow to trigger distant switches and hit aerial threats.
- Alone: Wears aviator goggles and wields a heavy wrench to smash barriers and operate complex machinery.
- Gameplay: Seamless co-op mechanics and specialized team traversal.
Lands of The Spiral
The journey takes the duo across surreal and desolate environments, each harbouring unique monstrosities:
- The Necropolis: A sun-scorched city of sand and ruins, inhabited by the giant, destructive Monster Baby.
- The Funfair / Carnival: A twisted playground filled with disturbing illusions and hollow spectacles.
- The Factory: An industrial nightmare where dark machinery grinds endless forgotten materials.
- The Monster Baby: A colossal doll-like infant with a petrifying gaze that destroys everything it touches.
